DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

We Believe

• The Scriptures (all sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments) are verbally inspired by God, inerrant and infallible in their original writings, and have ultimate authority.

• In One God eternally existing in One Essence; yet, Three Persons co-equal: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

• God is the Creator of all things (heavens and earth). He created out of nothing (ex-nihilo) by the Word of His power.

• The LORD God created man out of the dust, and the woman out of man. Both were equally created in the image of God, sinned in the Garden of Eden, were separated from God and as a result, the greatest need for both is a Savior.

• Jesus Christ was begotten by God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born to the virgin, Mary.

• The Lord Jesus Christ lived a sinless life. He was crucified, buried and on the third day rose, never to die again. His work on the cross is a completed work. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no man can come to the Father except through Him.

• The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. He comes to indwell the man or woman who has been saved by grace through faith.

• In the hope of the Lord Jesus Christ’s return.

• In the Church (Bride/Body of Christ) who has been called out of the world unto God, saved by grace through faith, for the ultimate purpose of glorifying God.

• By grace, God the Father fore-ordained His Plan to redeem man from sin before the foundation of the world, God the Son executed His Plan perfectly and completely, and the Holy Spirit continues to apply His Plan to the heart and lives of those who are His children through faith.

• In two ordinances of the Church, which are the believer’s baptism by immersion and communion (the Lord’s Supper).

• Christ’s commission to make disciples of all nations.
