OUR MISSION

Transforming the Heart Ministries is dedicated to making disciples by equipping and training them using the biblical framework established in God's Word (Matt. 28:18-20). We believe and proclaim the good news of the gospel - that the Triune God has redeemed a people for His glory and good pleasure. Planned by the Father, accomplished by the Son, and applied by the Spirit, this redemptive story is the overarching theme of the Scriptures. Entrusted with this blessed gospel, TTHM is devoted to making disciples as God's Spirit, using God's Word, transforms the hearts of those who surrender and obey (2 Tim. 3:16-17).

MEET TRANSFORMING THE HEART

MEET MENDY

Mendy Clark is a wife, mother, and grandmother. She has been married to her husband, Stan, for 43 years and together they have four children, two son-in-laws, one daughter-in-law, and six grandchildren. You will frequently hear her referring to her grandchildren as "her lambs."

A lifelong learner, Mendy holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from University of Arkansas Fort Smith (formerly Westark Community College) in Fort Smith, AR, a Bachelor of Science in Religion, a Master of Arts in Religion and a Master's in Religious Education from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, and a Doctorate of Educational Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.

As a former registered nurse in the cardiac intensive care unit, she specialized in taking care of patients after open heart surgery. The Lord, in His mercy, called her from taking care of physical hearts to spiritual hearts. She often says, "The Lord rescued me from my life and placed me in His." She will be eternally grateful!

Mendy has discovered that the analogies between the physical and spiritual heart are amazingly similar. However, unlike the medical profession, the spiritual heart has only One Physician, Jesus Christ; and one treatment, the Word of God.
